Thank goodness for slow days at work! Our creative assignment this week was to Illustrate song lyrics in a photograph. I was running out of time to get this done, so I slipped across the room in between phone calls & set up my daughters train table to illustrate the song "Bank Robber Man" by Lenny Kravitz. I'm quite pleased with the results!
The regular weekly assignment was to use manual mode. For that, I had my always willing daughter pose in the front yard for me. I wanted to blur the background (neighbors house & garbage can) so I used my 50mm lens at f1.8. I used the meter in the camera to select correct shutter speed to ensure a proper exposure. I got some pretty good shots before she had to run out with friends.
